The Caring Community Foundation (CCF) recently awarded $5,000 to local non-profits. The CCF annually awards community enhancement grants to local non-profits engaged in education, healthcare, the arts, and/or community improvement.

This year, CCF made five awards:

  • $3,000 to Community HealthCare System to purchase items needed to educate rural health clinicians on pediatric and neonatal intubation and resuscitation.
  • $500 to HRHS for materials to install an electrical sub-panel.
  • $500 to Onaga Historical Society for their new exhibit featuring women with Onaga connections who have served in the military.
  • $500 to the Rock Creek Valley Historical Society for materials to redo the interior of the historic Wiziarde Barn.
  • $500 to the St. Marys Historical Society to swap plug-in timers for switches to assist with their display lighting.
